I'm writing this letter after only a few days of being at the training camp and it is not what I expected, but that's probably because there's so many of us. Everything here is over crowded and I have to fight for space. There aren't enough huts for all of us to sleep in and some of us have to sleep in tents. I was one of the lucky ones who got the huts for the first couple nights, but I can not say the same for today. Inside the huts, the temperature is slightly chilly, however it is nothing compared to outside. The first few days, we've just been getting into routine, so waking up early, starting with drills, but apparently tomorrow is when the 'real' training starts. The training now is tough already so I have no clue how tomorrow will wind up. It will be extremely difficult, but I need to get into shape if I have to go to war. I know all of the things I learn and work on here will only help me in the long run and may even save my life one day. Only twelve weeks of this mess and I can be off fighting for my country. I now have to wrap up this letter because I have to get some rest for tomorrow. I am really excited for the training tomorrow because we will begin working on gun skills. Will write back soon!
